The Magic of Grandmas is Danielle Ate the Sandwich’s newest one woman show, debuting at KC Fringe in July 2026.

You will need a Fringe Button ($5) and your ticket to get into the show. Venues are cashless this year, so bring your card.
Doors open 15 minutes before the show and starts promptly.
The show runs about 55 minutes.

ABOUT DANIELLE ATE THE SANDWICH | MORE

Danielle Ate the Sandwich is the stage name of Danielle Anderson, a singer/songwriter, recording artist, and comedic performer based in Kansas City, MO. As a self taught performer and musician, Danielle grew a fanbase with her DIY videos on Youtube and from touring the US extensively from 2009-2018. Danielle’s songs and performances are a shared experience, celebrating grief, humor and happiness.

Danielle has released eight full length albums of original music, hosted The 24 Hour Album, an annual songwriting experiment that brings fans inside the songwriting process, creating an album together in just 24 hours. She also teaches an online songwriting course called ‘Life as a Songwriter.’

‘The Greatest Garage Sale Ever’ was Danielle’s first one woman stage show and won BEST OF VENUE at KC Fringe 2024. The Magic of Grandmas, Danielle’s newest stage show will debut at KC Fringe in July 2026.

Danielle was voted Best Musician and Best Vocalist from the Pitch’s Best of KC Awards 2026. She is Charlotte Street Studio Resident alum and an ArtsKC Inspiration Grant Recipient.

ABOUT FOREST KINSEY | MORE

Forest Kinsey is a writer and content producer for online, digital, and entertainment media. Based in Kansas City, Forest is a screenwriter, media reviewer, and filmmaker with experience in film production, sketch comedy, and improvisation.

“I analyze as much as I imagine. As a graduate of the University of Kansas, with degrees in Film and Media Studies and Ecology, Evolutionary, and Organismal Biology, my simultaneous experiences in creativity and science allow me this unique approach to my work.”
